    北京市規(guī)劃展覽館主要介紹了北京這座不朽之城的悠久歷史，宣傳當代城市規(guī)劃建設(shè)的偉大成就，展示未來北京城市發(fā)展的燦爛明天。展館共四層，建筑面積16000平方米，展示面積8000平方米。

    The Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall is designed to introduce the long history of the immortal city of Beijing, display the great achievements of the modern urban planning and development, and exhibit the splendid future of Beijing's urban development. The 16,000 square-meter floor space is distributed on 4 floor levels in the Hall, with 8,000 square meters for exhibits. 

　　北京市規(guī)劃展覽館主要展示北京這座偉大都城的過去、現(xiàn)在和未來。成為海內(nèi)外專家、學者開展學術(shù)交流的舞臺。成為展現(xiàn)新北京風貌的愛國主義教育基地，成為對未成年人進行思想道德教育的基地，激發(fā)人民群眾了解北京，熱愛北京，共同參與北京建設(shè)的熱情。
 
　　The Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall primarily features the past, present and future of the great ancient city of Beijing. It also serves as a platform for both domestic and overseas scholars to exchange academic ideas, as an education base of patriotism and morality for youngsters, and as a place to stimulate public passion for understanding and loving Beijing more and participating in the development of Beijing.
